OSSTF Benefits – New Trusted Provider Program for orthotics and more

We are pleased to offer you the Trusted Provider Network (TPN), a provider program offered by our insurer, Manulife.

What is the TPN?

Currently, the TPN includes providers of orthotics, orthopedic shoes, surgical stockings and braces only. You can check out the list of trusted service providers for the following areas: London, Hamilton, Sault Ste. Marie and Niagara. Find the list by logging into My Claims and reviewing the My benefits section at the bottom of the screen.

The TPN program is voluntary, and you can continue to use your eligible provider of choice.

How the program benefits you

The providers in the network have already been validated and approved by Manulife because they have the required credentials and business practices. This means that if you have OSSTF Benefits coverage, your claim processes faster, with minimal delays.

How the program works

Complete your claim as normal. For the fastest and easiest way to submit your claim, use the online claims tool through My Claims. Here’s how:

1. Go to otip.com and click Log in.
2. Select Health and Dental from the drop-down menu and log in.
3. After you have logged in, click My Claims.
4. Click the Submit a claim

By using the TPN for your orthotics, orthopedic shoes, surgical stockings and braces:

• Your claim will be processed faster.
• You are helping to protect your plan from potential provider fraud and the misuse and abuse of benefits, which will help to keep the costs of your benefits affordable.
