The OSSTF Benefits website, www.osstfbenefits.ca, is updated regularly to provide information to members about the OSSTF Benefits Plans.�

 

Fundamental information about the OSSTF Employee Life and Health Trust (ELHT) found on this website includes:

 

�       Our Journey which outlines the development of the OSSTF Benefits plans that were implemented commencing November 1, 2016.

�       The OSSTF ELHT Benefits Guide �which provides a summary of the Benefits that eligible members are eligible for.

�       Member Health and Dental Benefit Premium Contributions which illustrates the monthly member premium costs according to FTE that apply for single or family health and dental benefits.

�       The Frequently Asked Questions portion of the OSSTF Benefits Website, OSSTF Benefits FAQs, which was developed in response to questions that OSSTF Benefits receives from members and Bargaining Unit Leaders and is updated frequently. It includes information on eligibility, plan coverage, claim submission and changes in status.

�       Understanding Your Benefits Plan which outlines the fundamentals of how the OSSTF ELHT, OTIP, Manulife, and School Boards/School Authorities support the benefit plans for eligible OSSTF members and their eligible dependents.

Important Updates and Benefit Reminders

 

  • Remember to keep your preferred email address up to date so you won't miss important information about your benefits coverage and plan.
  • Your beneficiary designation is a critical part of your group life insurance benefits. Make sure you review your beneficiary designation information regularly in addition to whenever you experience a major life event, such as getting married/common-law, divorced, or birth/adoption of a child.
  • Did you know? You can now access proof of coverage documents for your eligible covered dependant(s) through My Benefits on the plan member site.
  • When you are no longer eligible for coverage under your OSSTF �ELHT group benefits plan, please ensure that you inform your pharmacy, dental office and/or service providers to avoid overpayments.
