COVID – from the OSSTF ELHT Board of Trustees

Dear Member,

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, the OSSTF Employee Life and Health Trust (ELHT) will continue to work closely with OTIP, our plan administrator, to make proactive decisions that are grounded in care for members and employees.

OTIP’s Hours of Operation – Temporary Change

As of Monday, March 16, 2020, OTIP’s hours of operation have changed to Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. OTIP is making this temporary change in hours to balance the health and well-being of their employees while continuing to meet the needs of members.

In line with this approach, most OTIP call centre employees have been accommodated to work from home. This means that when you call them, you may hear some unexpected background noise from an employee’s home work space.

Please be assured that although the service experience may be different, the OTIP team remains committed to being available to answer your questions efficiently and effectively during this time.

Questions about claims, coverage, and enrolment should continue to be directed to OTIP at 1-866-783-6847.
